Narrative - Official Air Force Mission Description
| Mission 825: 9 of 164 B-17s carry out the first DISNEY mission (Royal Navy rocket-boosted concrete piercing bombs) against the U-boat pens at Ijmuiden, the Netherlands visually; 140 hit the secondary target, the oil storage depot at Dulmen, Germany using Micro H; and 1 hits Lingen, a target of opportunity; 5 B-17s fly a screening mission; 5 B-17s are damaged. Escorting are 102 of 106 P-51s without loss. 3 of 6 P-51s fly a scouting mission and 20 of 21 P-51s escort photo reconnaissance aircraft over Germany. 102 of 104 P-51s fly a strafing mission in the Steinhuder Lake area but abort because of bad weather; 2 P-51s are lost.

No strike photos or observations of results were obtained. The 613th flew 6 crews in the 401st 94th "C" Group. The 401st formed the 94th "C" Group with Major D.C. McCree as the Air Commander. Because of the bad weather the primary couldn't be bombed so the formation went in to bomb by Squadrons on Micro-H. The operators reported good runs but no observations of the results could be made. No enemy fighters were seen and no flak was encountered. This was a very small mission with only 164 B-17's of the 1st Air Division flying over Germany to attack a secondary target at Dulmen, the primary and visual target being covered by clouds. The secondary target was a German Air Force Depot located at Dulmen. The Lead Squadron made a strictly Micro-H run on it, with no results observed or photographed. The 401st Furnished the 94th "C" Group, led by Major D.G. McCree. There was no enemy air opposition and no flak. Capt. W.S. Harb was the other leader.
