Repaired at Beccles 30 Apr - 1 Jun 44 - #1 & #3 engines, wing panel, main wheels, electrical system - damage on 29 Apr 44 mission to Berlin.
Lost 12 Jul 44 - hit by flak, went on fire and was last seen heading for Switzerland - crash landed at Ensisheim, 15 - 20 km north of Mulhouse, France, was repaired by the Germans, given German markings and was being prepared for take off when it was shot up by a P-38 Lightning and destroyed, the position having been communicated to the Allied forces by the French resistance organisation.
