NotesOriginal airplane. Repaired at Great Saling (Andrewsfield), Essex, 22 - 28 Feb 44 battle damage - where it landed after being hit by armour piercing shells on 20 Feb 44 mission to Brunswick. Lost 9 May 44 - went down at Arendonk, Belgium, between Turnhout and the Netherlands border - not in formation, it was shot down by a fighter. (Florennes) MACR 4595
