NotesFirst trace: 11 May 44. Individual aircraft letter changed from A+ to A- between 8 & 11 Jul 44. Landed safely 8 Sep 44 at A-67 (Vitry, France), having sustained flak damage. Was repaired. Fitted with RCM equipment from 14 Oct 44 or earlier. Lost 11 Nov 44 - bomb bay caught fire over the Ruhr valley on 70th mission after being hit by flak. Just before bombs away, a wing came off when the plane went into a dive and crashed between Buer and Essen. (Bottrop) MACR 10342
