Target: BOBLINGEN GERMANY Airfield (54 aircraft) - (48.6903, 8.99578)

The Boblingen airfield was opened in 1915 to train pilots and observers for military purposes. Afterr World War I, The airfield was largely shut down. In 1925 the airfield reopened as the airport of Stuttgart with a new hangar, a hotel, restaurant, customs and baggage handling. Flights were available daily to Zurich, Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt. In 1929, the airship Graf Zeppelin visited the airfield with over 100,000 people watching. In 1938 the military took over the field. After the war it was an American Army vehicle repair base.
